MP MAJHI MEETS PM FOR NABARANGPUR GROWTH.

Nabarangpur MP Balabhadra Majhi submitted a memorandum to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday for  speeding up development of Nabarangpur Parliamentary constituency in terms of education, road and agriculture.

In the memorandum, he cited that the KBK region has very adverse human development indicators and is one for the most backward regions of the country. Nabarangpur Parliamentary constituency is the least developed and stands at the bottom of the 543 constituencies in the country. Only about 45 per cent of its population are literate. About 200 revenue villages in Malkangiri are not having road connectivity. Malkangiri and Nabarangpur districts are not having an inch of railway line, it said.  

Mr.Majhi urged to sanction of Engineering College in Nabarangpur, Medical College either at Malkangiri or Nabarangpur, Major irrigation  projects of Tel integrated project in Nabarangpur, Saptadhara in Malkangiri, middle Kolab project in Koraput district.  Five degree colleges in Nabarangpur, buildings for the govt aided high schools, phase-2 PMGSY roads requested in the memorandum.

MP Majhi suggested merger of Skill Development initiatives within the HRD Ministry for boosting the employment opportunity among the youths. Modi assured to take appropriate measures, MP Majhi said.
