A preparatory meeting for a national level Buyer-Seller Meet-cum-Industrial Exhibition- 2011 was held here.

For the first time the district administration in association with the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Institute (MSME-DI), Cuttack, under Union Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises is organising the exhibition November 4 and 5 at the Mondei Ground here.

Presiding over the meeting, District Collector Sibabrata Dash said the main objective of the programme is to provide opportunity to Micro Small and Medium Enterprises to showcase their capabilities to the Public Sector Undertakings and other large scale enterprises which outsource many products and services from the MSME sector.

The exhibition would house stalls of Public Sector Undertakings (PSU) and MSMEs, and would enable the PSUs to identify vendors, thus providing an opportunity to develop buyer- seller relationship.
