SAHID SMRUTISTAMBA.
Situated 12 Kms. away from Nabarangpur near Papadahandi on the bank of River Turi. During Quit India Movement on August 24 of 1942 under the leadership of tribal leader Madhab Pradhani a procession marched towards Dabugam and fought with British soldier where 19 nos. of freedom fighter died. To keep it in memory of them SAHID STAMBA constructed and every year on 24th August Sahid Divas is observed. The spot till commemorates the freedom loving people of bygone era.
