On an efforts to provide quality health care in the district headquarters hospital, local MP Pradeep Majhi, inaugurated the first ultrasound machine here on Thursday.
The Rs.15 lakh machine was donated to the hospital by Mahanadi Coal Field Ltd on request of Mr.Majhi.
In the welcome address meeting MP Majhi, and CDMO Nanda Kishor Mishra, thanked to the MCL for supporting and installing ultrasound machine in the DHH Nabarangpur. On every Wednesday a local ultra-sonographeer technician from Christian Hospital will be invited to scan and view the patents informed Dr. Mishra. Among others Dr. Dilip Nag, MD Christian Hospital, former ZP Chairperson, Manjula Majhi, Senior Congress leader Muna Tripathy, Dilip Behera, present at the meeting.
